Spotlight on Computex 2017

At the ongoing Computex in Taipei, Zotac has unveiled a slew of innovative products that are taking the gaming and computing experience to the next level

Zotac is continuously moving ahead on a path towards reinventing the way GPU plays a critical role in the overall performance of a PC. The company has been continuously focusing towards bringing its Graphic card innovations in the market.

Talking about the journey of the company and the industry – Deepak Gupta, Country Manager India, Zotac International ltd says, “In the year 2008, about 95 per cent of our business was coming from entry level graphics card – with a price range of about INR 2500. And now if you see this year – 70 per cent revenue comes from high end, 30 per cent revenue comes from entry level and the ASP is now about INR 6000. This is how things have evolved over the past many years,” he added.

Zotac is addressing the Indian market with the help of its Indian distributor – Supertron.

“And we see huge potential especially when we have artificial intelligence, deep learning, every user who go into the compute side – need a graphics card. And now it is like less CPU and more GPU. Highly efficient GPU holds the big key to the success of tomorrow’s PC,” he explained.

Zotac has expanded on gaming hardware with an all-new gaming PC, doubling down on the extremely popular #1 MAGNUS gaming mini PC systems, and increasing the march of the mini graphics cards.

A New Brand, ZOTAC Gaming, Unveiled

ZOTAC Gaming’s first gaming product, MEK Gaming PC has been launched at Computex 2017 in Taipei. Built for gaming enthusiasts, it is powered by a ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1080 Mini, 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor and a low-profile CPU Cooler to deliver overwhelming performance for high-end gaming and premium entertainment. With a futuristic design, MEK marks the beginning of gaming products for a new brand, ZOTAC Gaming, focused on gaming products fit for all who Live to Game.

Uplift Productivity and More Performance

More innovations come to the MAGNUS Gaming Series of ZOTAC Mini PCs. MAGNUS EN1050K, featuring an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, continues to raise the bar for small yet more powerful gaming machines.

For the first time, ZOTAC has also introduced a gaming Mini PC equipped with a full on desktop GeForce GTX graphics card. The inclusion of a 7th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Optane Memory support or AMD Ryzen processor with a desktop graphics card boasts even more performance while still maintaining Mini PC pint sized dimensions.

ZOTAC has also introduced the thinnest ZBOX yet with the debut of Pico PI225 Card sized Mini PC. Building on innovations pioneered by the original Pico model with a fanless passive cooled design, performance is silent and powerful enough to drive a 4K display. Slim and silent, Pico PI225 is designed for flexibility and used anywhere.

The World’s Smallest GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

As a constant pioneer in developing small form factor graphics cards, ZOTAC unleashes two GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Minis with both making bold statements.

The world’s smallest GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and the other with the world’s smallest waterblocked GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Both at just 8.3 inch (210mm) in length, choose between dual-fans or liquid-ready waterblock for extreme performance in the most compact of size. Equally great in GPU performance is the new ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm, enhanced with full-coverage waterblock ready for liquid cooling and made even more beautiful with SPECTRA lighting.

Two refined ZOTAC External boxes make an appearance at Computex this year. One compatible with up to GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards fit for high-end gaming, and the other one in a compact size and suitable for NVMe PCIe SSD storage. They all bring easy, powerful gaming muscle via Thunderbolt 3.
