What are the key priorities for Citrix today?
Over the years, we at Citrix have endeavored to provide end-to-end mobility solutions that cater to specific needs of businesses. Considering we have consistently reiterated our stance on secure delivery of applications, security along with flexible user experience and dedicated security controls rank high on our priority list.
Because emerging technological innovations have the ability to completely disrupt existing business models, creating new business models with a touch of innovation and meaningful experiences for customers, is a must. This push to revisit current infrastructure and facilitate mobility and flexibility is what we are trying to drive through our concentration on ‘future of work’.

How does the company look at its channel partners today, while looking for growth?
At Citrix, we are dedicated to a complete channel driven strategy and have been vocal about the role our channel partners have played in our growth. Being a crucial growth driver, they provide the value essential for a sound business strategy. Here, what we heavily give weightage to is a consistent feedback mechanism that acts like a bridge.
This bridge fills the gap between our consumers and us and hence, aids in our steady progress. Owing to regular engagement, our channel partners also have been effective in positioning Citrix products. Because of their invaluable contribution, we are dedicated to ensuring a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship.
What are big advantages that Citrix brings for channel partners today?
Citrix is at an incredible vantage point considering the buoyant technology driven disruptive ecosystem. Understanding this ecosystem has helped us strategically align our goals towards an inclusive growth structure. With emphasis on areas like cloud, networking, virtualization and security, it’s imperative for us to tactically streamline our engagement. Therefore, we collaboratively work with our partners in areas that have the potential to change the IT landscape.
Further, to ensure that our partners grow with us, we have developed incentive programs such as Citrix Strategic Development Fund for Citrix Solution Advisors (CSAs) and distributors.
We also have a Net New Partner Sourced program that recognizes and rewards the Citrix Solution Providers. Additionally, under the Citrix Advisor Rewards program, our partners will also continue to be rewarded for selling solutions in the right markets.
Please share some of the innovations that Citrix is bringing to the market?
Innovation is at the core of Citrix’s offerings. Having already established a strong presence in the Enterprise mobility, Networking, Virtualization, and Cloud space, we now have our focus trained on “shaping the future of workspaces”. The idea is to empower organizations by striking the right balance between security, productivity, and control. Our XenApp Essentials and XenDesktop Essentials have capably enabled businesses to stay relevant by equipping them with an IT infrastructure that listens and delivers.
What are your key target verticals for pushing your solutions in India?
India is one of the fastest-evolving countries in terms of innovations and rate of technology adoption. Businesses, government bodies, and consumers alike are transitioning rapidly. This favorable inclination towards a digital approach has further strengthened our resolve to aid India’s transformation story.
While we have presence in several areas, we are strongly focusing on BFSI, government and IT services. Considering the nature of these sectors and the importance they give to security, Citrix’s Secure-by Design offerings are an ideal fit.
What kind of growth are you looking from India and where is this growth going to come from?
Citrix has always been a keen listener of market developments. With the digitization thrust, Security along with our core focus areas of Mobility, Virtualization, and Cloud, are our target growth markets. Having said that, we understand that our growth over the years has been propelled by a strong network of partners.
Hence, to sustain the established mutually beneficial relationship, we intend on making strides in new verticals and geographies.
Furthermore, due to India’s shift towards a mobile-first, digital economy, the demand for secure solutions is on an all-time high. This promising scenario is what we aim to make the most of by aiding businesses in adapting a smoother, more equipped, flexible infrastructure.
