Asus set to unveil AMD driven Ryzen notebook at Computex 2017

With Computex 2017 just around the corner, Asus is all set to unveil its latest – Ryzen notebook at the mega exposition in Taipei.

Earlier this week, AMD unveiled Ryzen Mobile, a set of new CPUs for laptops. Asus has released a teaser video on the Asus Republic of Gamers YouTube channel. The first consumer Ryzen laptop is likely to be showcased at Computex 2017.

The Asus video shows the Ryzen logo with a ROG branded laptop in the middle, with the words “Something has awakened”. Below the video, the caption says: “Something BIG is coming your way! Can you guess what it is? #JointheRepublic #Computex 2017.”

Computex – is long seen as a global exposition where companies showcase their IT and processing prowess by announcing their latest product innovations. This year’s Computex is likely to take the excitement another notch ahead with vendors such as AMD, Asus, Intel, Acer, Microsoft, Nvidia etc coming to the fore with their latest innovations in the market.

As far as Asus is concerned, since the Asus ROG branded hardware targets the gamers community, this notebook will have pretty geeky specs.

Computex 2017 will take place in Taipei from May 30 until June 3.
