What is the big focus for the organization today and what is your go to market strategy for India?
India is a very important market for us and we are focusing towards increasing our business footprint in India today. Even though, we are highly regarded as business leader in services business. We have started our Accessories Distribution business in India.
Globally we are quite well established, but in India we are in the process of creating our own mark in the market. Our go to market strategy revolves completely around channel partners. Today, we are making Regional Distributers in all the states of the country. Once we have these distributors, we will drive market along with them.
How many distributors and channel partners work with you today?
At present, we have more than 10 distributors in North India. The number of channel partners should be more than 100. We are looking forward to increasing this number as we enter into other states of the country.
What kind of products and solutions are you pushing in India? What is the big value proposition that you have for your channel partners? How can they maximize on working with you?
There are a lot of ways by which channel partners can maximize their profitability while working with us. Today, we are focusing on Telecom and I.T. Accessories that are christened as ‘BeeKonnect’ and ‘BeeCharge’.
We are trying our best that our Channel Partners should get good margin in our products. And we are sure that we have got a very interesting proposition for our channel partners that deliver them good return on investment and when they get good RoI, than definitely they will invest in our business more fervently.
What kind of business verticals are you looking at today? Where is the big growth likely to come from?
We are working in two verticals one is IT Accessories and other is Telecom Accessories. There is huge potential for these two segments in India. This market is very big. As per the market research data, the market size is more than Rs 2,000 crore.
But mostly, it is unorganized market. We want to work in an organized manner and create better opportunities for our partners and also make sure that customer get good quality products on good price points.
How do you look at the competition in India? How is your product and solution different from that of your closest competition?
Indian market is competitive. But currently there are no big brands
apart from original OEMs, we are working in an organized manner and hence we have good potential to create opportunities and deliver best value to the end customers.
We firmly believe that we are in an ideal position to deliver unique set of products and solutions and cater to the market needs. One main reason for this is that we have a clear understanding towards driving a service oriented business. Being a service company we understand it better than most of our competitors.
What are some of the trends that are reshaping the industry today? What is your role in this?
Today the industry is growing at a fair amount of pace so that there is huge opportunity in front of us. At the same time, the industry is reshaping because now customer wants good quality and services for the products, especially when it comes to accessories. With our firmly entrenched background in the service segment, we will be a key player in this segment.
