What are the key priorities for Intex Today?

Intex Technologies has always brought innovative products to its consumers at competitive price points. As a brand, we have always focused on consumer delight and service.

For Intex, consumer feedback is very important as this helps in understanding their needs and further helps in bringing innovation in our products.

With new technologies and innovations, consumers are also demanding better features to enhance their experience and productivity. Considering the ever changing market trends, Intex has been offering best in class products to consumers.

What kind of opportunities is Intex looking at when it comes to segments such as government and education?

Public sector and education are big spenders on technology as they play a significant role in taking products & services to the masses. One work closely with these sectors to tap into the business potential as well as create new and improved products & services.

How does the company look at the digital India initiative by the government?

As Digital India drive gains momentum, we can see the journey to a more developed and well connected India across its length and breadth. Digital India will surely get a lot of boost from the new age tech savvy generation and will also prove to be the much needed impetus for the shaping up of the local manufacturing industry in the country.

The vision to connect 2.5 lakh gram panchayats via broadband and mobile phones, Wi-Fi accessible in 2.5 lakh schools and many other ideas are all concrete steps towards a well-connected and informed India. Intex being a consumer technology company has all the means to enable technology adoption by giving high-tech mobile phones at affordable prices to consumers.

We firmly believe that the industry will see a more connected and digitized approach towards innovations and would witness swift and seamless adaptation of technology by the consumers.

Please share some of the challenges that you are facing?

India is a geographically diverse country and to reach consumers across, big distribution network is required. To attain this objective Intex already have 1500 distributors, 80000+ dealers and 75 branded stores Intex Smart World covering 63 cities.

The country is also price sensitive but don’t mind to paying more for better quality so our objective is to bring best quality products at competitive prices.

After sales service is something very important for us hence we have 1500 service touch points to serve our consumers across the regions.

What kind of advantages and profitability are there that channel partners can get by associating with Intex?

Our channel strategy has always been a vital part of our growth plans. With a strong network of partners our focus is towards reaching the consumers across the country. We have 20,000 retail partners and have a running program of distributors meet & training that perfects them in learning about the science that goes behind creating these products.

Providing experience with the expertise of in-shop demonstrators, detailing the product specifications are all a part of selling products via these partners and at Intex we make sure that we give them special schemes to motivate and sustain their performance.

Please share some innovations that the company is putting forward today?

Innovation is key to the success of any business and here at Intex we are in a constant state of creating the next ‘Big Thing’ which is been our motivation throughout.
