Ricoh Unveils new series of compact, advanced projectors

Ricoh India Ltd, has launched its new series of innovative projectors – PJ S2440, PJ X2440 and PJ WX2440. Compact, lightweight and extremely versatile, the projectors boast Ricoh’s advanced technology, functionality and reliability.

Ideal for conference rooms and classrooms, the new devices offer great connectivity options, and can be easily carried for any convenient location to project images, videos, and presentations.

Users can showcase their work at projection sizes ranging from 30 inches to 300 inches wide diagonally, even when placed only a few feet away from the screen or wall. Each of the models deliver excellent colour, crisp and clear images and text definition.

The entry-level projector, RICOH PJ S2440 can be used for big screens, still images, PowerPoint presentations and projections of desktop or computer screen. At a brightness of 3,000 lumens and a high contrast of 10000:1, this model doesn’t compromise on quality thus promising outstanding performance. With the PJ S2440, you can project images with SVGA resolution at up to 800 x 600 dpi with a 4:3 aspect ratio for easy viewing. This model is simple to set up and use, weighs 2.6kg and comes with HDMI connectivity option.

Designed for higher quality, more detailed images and videos, the RICOH PJ X2440 has the ability to project with XGA resolution at up to 1024 x 768 dpi, whereas RICOH PJ WX2440 can project images with WXGA resolution at up to 1280 x 800 dpi. PJ X2440 offer 3,000 lumens, and PJ WX2440 offers 3,100 lumens, coupled with 10,000:1 high contrast ratio mode, users can impress audiences with bright, crisp visuals in even moderately lit rooms. Both the models feature a 16:10 aspect ratio, multiple input terminals including a built-in HDMI/MHL port to plug in a wider range of multimedia devices like desktop computers, laptops, tablets, DVD and Blu-ray players. Besides, optional 3D projection tools can be added for an up-close-and-personal look at CAD drawings, blueprints, special videos and more. For wireless projection, a Wi-Fi dongle can be used.

RICOH PJ 2440 series brings vivid color quality with brighter images. It uses Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology for more precise presentations, more consistency and less lag along with noise levels as low as 31 dB. Users can adjust brightness for darker colours automatically to reduce energy usage, without distorting the quality of image with the ‘Eco Mode’. Although the internal speakers have brilliant sound quality, there is port for plugging in external speakers. In addition, the lamp life of the projectors can be extended from 5,000 hours to a whopping 6,000 hours.
