How Oracle is Building the Future of Business

By Steve Miranda, Executive Vice President, Applications

Over 750 Organizations Across Industries Have Gone Live on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications in the Last Six Months Broadcom Inc., FedEx, Marriott International, Lyft, MGM Resorts International, Unilever, The Vanguard Group, and many others

The world changed last March—and we’re proud that our customers looked to us as a trusted partner.

Working closely with organizations of all sizes from across different industries and geographies we have learned so much as we have helped them continue to run their businesses smoothly, scale up or down as needed, and respond effectively to the changing needs of their employees, customers, and partners.

Amidst all the changes, we saw our products and services stand up to the test, and now, we want to share what the past year’s journey revealed and what we learned together. To do this and discuss the future of business, we’d like to invite you to join us tomorrow (March 24th) at 12:00 noon ET for our latest event. You can learn more about the event and register here: Oracle Live.

Lessons learned
Looking back, working from home has clearly been the #1 factor for many businesses. What we learned is you can now do business from just about anywhere. We also saw health and safety become the highest priority, which will continue to influence how we do business. The lessons don’t stop there though.

In supply chain, the focus has shifted to resiliency and agility, while in finance, all the things that were important before continue to be important, but with heightened pressure. In customer experience, we have all lived through this as customers ourselves and now expect to be able to deal with businesses in digital ways more than ever before.

And finally, as the year unfolded, we saw again that there is no such thing as one size fits all. We saw different industries affected very differently by the pandemic. Some had to grow very rapidly, and others had to transform the way they work to deal with the new global reality.

It’s all about the partnership
Throughout the year, we partnered with our customers to help them adapt to these changes and position themselves for future growth. One trend we saw, and continue to see across industries, is organizations saying yes to our cloud applications and going live because they couldn’t afford not to. In fact, we have seen more than 750 organizations go live in the last six months.

In healthcare, organizations like Northwell Health and Atrium Health have gone live on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. In grocery and retail, Morrisons, Tesco PLC, and many other household names have selected our cloud applications, while in financial services, organizations such as Australian Finance Group, The Vanguard Group, and Santander Bank have made the move. The same is true in a variety of different industries with organizations ranging from FedEx and Lyft to MGM Resorts International and Unilever all going live on our cloud applications.

Building the future of business together
We’re bringing this all together for you in our Oracle Live event: Build the Future of Business with Oracle Cloud Applications.

We want to examine what the changes of the last year taught us. We also want to take a closer look at the future of business through the eyes of organizations like Marriott International, The Vanguard Group, and Broadcom Inc. They are using Oracle Cloud Applications to define their future and have lots to teach us. We hope you can join us tomorrow to see how the cloud can help you define what’s next for your business.
