The past 12 months have been amazing for Dell Technologies global partners where we delivered on so many fronts. But first is we delivered on impact and a strong purpose to ensure that our teams, partners and customers are all in a great position in a very healthy way. When it comes to revenue, we delivered 54 billion dollars in the past 12 months in orders. Our orders revenues through the channel was up 14% year over year globally. Order revenue for the channel through the client business was up 21% year over year and that’s across all regions in all partner tiers. Storage was up 3% year over year,” she informed.

And as the company looks forward to working with its global channel ecosystem for the coming months – the company is focusing on three priorities. “Number one for us is all enhancing the end to end partner experience. And we are living in a world where experience and personalisation is what matters. So the partner experience for us is all about making it easier to do business with us. How do we raise the bar with automated tools and processes? How do we build on the partner program of the future, and how do we continue to build upon the partners’ predictability as simplicity and profitability. Number two is how do we continue to accelerate our partner growth with best in class emerging technology. Today, it is not about a project or just an opportunity. It is all about that digital transformation journey that we want our customer to be on from a technology perspective. How do we leverage our leading capabilities with VMWare to capitalise on the new large addressable market that we have in the emerging technology space. And most importantly is – how do we continue to focus on storage with our partners, and continue the effort around the Comp Swap that we have. And most importantly and number three – is how do we activate partnership to advance sustainability, cultivate inclusion and transform lives all while upholding ethics and privacy.

And I have to tell you, the world is fighting a virus, which is the global pandemic but at the same time for many years we have been fighting systemic racism around the world. Dell Technologies focuses around how do we impact that through our community work. How do we coordinate the efforts to give back –  we did a lot of the things in India to give back to the community and work with our partners to ensure that we are providing the technology to improve human progress. We did it through business enablement, sharing resources and best practices around the partner ecosystem, engaging with our partners, networking with them and support them globally,” she added.

Dell – All About Empowering Partners

Speaking about the company’s strategy during the ongoing pandemic era – she emphasized on the way Dell has understood the struggles of its partner communities and empowered them with all the tools they need to succeed in today’s scenario.

“In the last year and half what I have seen is more than ever the partner community has come together as one. We have been working closely with all of our partners across the globe especially in countries like India to understand the struggles that the country has faced to put in place measurements in programs. And as a priority – we are focused on community impact and the giving back programs. Unfortunately in every crisis there is always an opportunity for us to do better and that is what we have shown. As Dell Technologies, we have empowered our partners, we have inspired them and we got out of their way so that they could go out there and make an impact on our customers and communities.” she pointed out.
