Vietnam’s leading IT service provider FPT Software, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation, announced a new partnership with Julie Sandlau, a jewelry manufacturer, to help them build its first smart jewelry factory in Vietnam support.
The collaboration aims to expand FPT Software’s presence in the Nordic region, introducing digital technologies to Julie Sandlau’s production line and taking it into the future with smart factories, artificial intelligence, robotics and more.
The signing ceremony took place on November 1st in Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of the Vietnam-Denmark Business Summit Forum 2022 hosted by the Danish Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Government Office and the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark.
With this partnership, FPT Software becomes a strategic partner of Julie Sandlau, providing the company with an exclusive roadmap to build its first smart factory, transforming the traditional jewelry manufacturing process with digital technologies such as robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and others. The new manufacturing facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023 at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Vietnam’s first and largest hi-tech industrial district.
The newly-established partnership is also set to transform business operations and diverse workflows such as human resources, operations management, accounting and others. FPT Software’s automation and robotics solutions simplify the usual back-office processes, freeing up staff and paving the way for Julie Sandlau’s sustainable development. This strategic move also allows Julie Sandlau to expand its operations into a strategic market such as Vietnam, where potential customers can be targeted.

This makes Julie Sandlau the first jewelry manufacturer in the world to use emerging technologies in its manufacturing process. This brings the company closer to its goal of becoming a pioneer of digital transformation in the manufacture of first-class accessories by 2025.
As part of the strategic partnership, the workforces of both companies can exchange knowledge and experience. Julie Sandlau offers internship and employment opportunities to recent graduates of FPT University and FPT Corporation staff.
