Detel Foundation ties up with Relay for its #PlantaTreeDrive

Detel is partnering with RELAY in working towards environmental sustainability through its “Plant a Tree” drive.

As part of this the initiative, RELAY will be distributing specially packed seeds to all its customers provided by Detel to safeguard the environment. This initiative is a step towards a cleaner and greener earth.

The move is one of the ways to show that we are concerned and thus we are requesting all our customers to join this movement to make it successful.

Commenting on the initiative, Yogesh Bhatia, founder, DETEL said: “Air pollution in India has touched catastrophic levels, a large portion of our population being impacted by the same. Since India is home to 13 of the top 20 worldwide cities reeling under the impact of air pollution, planting trees is one of the significant efforts to fight against air pollution. Detel’s initiative of gifting seeds encourages people to make a positive contribution to improving the green cover. Detel’s Pan India’s presence allows us to reach across 48 towns and educate our patrons on steps to be taken to develop the green cover. We hope the #Gogreen initiative will be able to make a significant contribution in this direction.”

Commenting on the initiative, Harmeet Grover, Chief Operating Officer, RELAY, said – We are delighted to be associated with Detel in this noble initiative. Protecting and enhancing the environment is responsibility of every individual and through the #Gogreen initiative, we are encouraging people to plant trees and improve their health.”
