NASSCOM Announces Winner for GCC Awards 2021

Celebrating excellence in the GCC ecosystem (Global Capability Centres) and recognizing the ingenious & breakthrough solutions developed by GCC organizations in the country, the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has announced the winners of the 3rd edition of NASSCOM GCC Awards on the sidelines of the GCC conclave 2021.

The awards recognized 25 organizations for their extraordinary contributions to the GCC community under five key categories- Innovation Excellence, Exemplary Value-Add, Excellence in building the talent of the future, Excellence during the crisis and Impactful GCC Driven Collaborations.

The winners included PepsiCo Global Business Services, Samsung R&D Institute – India, Bangalore (SRI -B), AB InBev GCC Services, Amadeus Software Labs Limited, Societe Generale Global Solution Center India, AstraZeneca India Pvt Ltd, Barclays Global Service Center, TransUnion Global Technology Center LLP, Broadridge Financial Solutions India Pvt Ltd, BT Group Business Services, Falabella India Pvt Ltd, HSBC Software Development India Pvt Ltd, KAS Services India PTY Ltd, Target Corporation India Pvt Ltd, Morgan Stanley Advantage Services, and NetApp India Pvt ltd.

These organisations have driven innovation, business impact, strategic initiatives for the global enterprise, built talent, business disruptions enabled by people, process, technology, and culture.

Over the years, NASSCOM GCC Awards honors stellar innovation done by GCCs in the country. The 3rd edition of the award recognized organizations that have driven successful innovation initiatives, enabled by people, process, technology and culture; demonstrated ownership & success in driving strategic initiatives for the global enterprise & end-customers, while at the same time adapted and rapidly responded to the 2020 business disruption; implemented effective talent management practices to proactively build a future-ready workforce and demonstrated excellence in driving external ecosystem collaboration at a global level.

India today has over 1430 GCCs currently operating across the financial services, technology, R&D, electronics, automobile, retail and healthcare industries. This is projected to grow over 1900 by 2025, with a CAGR of 6-7%. 42% of GCCs in India are high on the maturity curve and have emerged as portfolio and transformation hubs in the country. The ecosystem is not only demonstrated high resilience to the pandemic given the high volumes of software projects but has also been able to create significant social impact within the ecosystem. Sustaining the growth will require a collaborative effort from the industry, government, and partner ecosystem.
