AI Agent | Hostinger brings support with business growth

After resolving 91% of roughly 1.5 million support conversations a month on its own, Hostinger’s AI assistant Kodee has been given a bigger job. Released as Hostinger Agent, it combines support with specialized agents that create, plan, analyze, and automate work.

When the agent is unsure, it asks a human specialist, learning and improving in the process. The launch further unifies Hostinger’s digital business experience for more than 5 million clients under one agentic platform.

AI Assistant Kodee | Hostinger brings support with business growth

A small business today deals with AI in fragments: a support bot at every vendor, plus its own writing copilot, SEO tool, analytics agent, each with its own setup and no knowledge of the others. Research firm Gartner predicts that by 2028, 60% of brands will use agentic AI across marketing, sales, and support. Zendesk’s 2026 CX Trends report found that 81% of consumers want their conversations with companies to carry on where they left off, without starting over. What that requires is context: an AI that already knows what the customer runs, owns, and is trying to do.

Hostinger Agent starts with much of that context already in place. Its specialized agents for marketing, SEO, content and visuals, analysis, and recurring tasks can draw on the customer’s website or store, domain, business email, newsletters, previous conversations, and ongoing work, so they can move straight to action.

In practice, a customer can arrive with a broken DNS record and leave with the launch campaign written and the weekly report scheduled. Another can come asking how to get more traffic and leave with an email campaign created and sent through Hostinger Reach, the company’s email marketing product.

“The AI industry has spent the past two years giving people more assistants, copilots, and agents to choose from. We want customers to stop choosing between them,” said Emilis Strimaitis, Head of Product Innovation at Hostinger. “When the AI already knows what the customer is building and what they are trying to achieve, fixing the immediate problem is only part of the job. The real value is helping them grow online.”

Hostinger Agent is also available directly inside AI Builder, Hostinger’s agentic environment for creating websites, stores, apps, and other online projects. That means customers can build and consult the agent at the same time: change the site, ask how to improve its SEO, plan the launch, analyze what is working, or get help when something breaks without switching between tools. AI Builder already brings creation, backend infrastructure, ecommerce, and marketing into one environment; Hostinger Agent adds an ongoing business conversation on top of it.

Around one in ten conversations goes beyond what the AI can confidently resolve alone. Instead of transferring the customer or risking a weak answer, a Customer Success specialist can step in when needed to add context and validate the response, while the same conversation continues.

Hostinger calls these specialists AI CX Engineers. Their role is shifting from taking over difficult conversations to helping the AI solve them, so the next thousand people with the same problem get the right answer immediately. Customers who prefer to speak directly with a person can still ask for a specialist at any time, on any plan and in every market.

The model is already showing results. Since the change at the end of June, specialist-guided AI resolution rose from 41% to 72%, while live chat demand fell from 10% to 4.5%. Customers also reach a solution much faster, in a median of around three minutes with specialist-guided AI, compared with more than 50 minutes for live chats.

Hostinger Agent began rolling out from mid-August 2026, replacing Kodee across customer touchpoints. Support and account management remain available at no additional cost, while specialized agentic work is available through a tiered subscription at hostinger.com/hostinger-agent.

Hostinger has spent the past year rebuilding its product line around AI. In August, Website Builder and Horizons became AI Builder, a single tool for creating and launching online projects. Hostinger Ecommerce, which lets customers sell through their website, social channels, and shareable links, launched in July, and Reach, the AI email marketing platform, arrived last year.
