Redington Limited, an Indian integrated technology solutions provider and a Fortune India 500 company, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has launched ‘Connecting India – Innovation on Wheels’, a nationwide Bus Yatra aimed at helping startups, SMBs, and MSMEs in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets move beyond legacy systems by adopting cloud-first, AI-driven, and data-led technologies that enable faster decision-making with operational efficiency.
The ‘Connecting India – Innovation on Wheels’ Bus Yatra was inaugurated today in Bengaluru in the presence of Rajat Vohra, India CEO, Redington Limited, and Sandeep Dutta, President, India and South Asia, AWS, senior leaders from AWS and Redington, marking the beginning of a multi-city journey to accelerate digital transformation across India’s emerging business hubs.
Kicked off in Bengaluru, the Bus Yatra represents a joint effort by Redington and AWS to engage India’s rapidly growing regional markets, where digital adoption is accelerating across industries such as manufacturing, BFSI, SaaS, retail, and digital-native enterprises. The initiative provides local businesses with hands-on guidance, expert consultations, and real-world use cases to modernize IT environments, enhance resilience, and build scalable, AI-enabled foundations.
The journey will cover key cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Kolkata, offering enterprises direct access to cloud expertise, solution demonstrations, and tailored advisory sessions. This enables organizations to move beyond legacy systems, embrace cloud-first architectures, and unlock new growth opportunities outside metro markets.
The Bengaluru launch event will bring together countrywide attendees, including leaders from Redington and AWS, ecosystem partners, customers, and industry influencers, to discuss how cloud-led innovation is transforming business models across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities/towns in India. The discussions will spotlight AI, data-driven insights, and secure cloud infrastructure as key enablers of growth, agility, and competitiveness in domestic and global markets.
“India’s next phase of digital growth will be driven by enterprises operating beyond the metros, particularly across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities that are emerging as hubs for manufacturing, services, and digital innovation,” said Rajat Vohra, India CEO, Redington Limited. “Through the Redington-AWS Bus Yatra, we are taking innovation directly to these growth markets, enabling startups, SMBs, and MSMEs to adopt modern, cloud-first architectures, improve operational efficiency, and build future-ready supply chains and business models aligned with a digital-first economy.”
The initiative also reinforces Redington’s role as a trusted technology transformation partner, supporting customers across their cloud journey through advisory services, solution enablement, and ecosystem-led technology orchestration.
Over the coming months, each Bus Yatra stop will feature interactive workshops, customer and partner sessions, and focused discussions on cloud adoption trends across BFSI, manufacturing, SaaS, retail, and emerging digital-native businesses. The initiative reflects Redington and AWS’s shared vision of enabling inclusive, sustainable digital growth by democratizing access to advanced technology across India.
With ‘Connecting India – Innovation on Wheels’, Redington and AWS reaffirm their commitment to building a future-ready technology ecosystem that empowers startups, SMBs, and MSMEs across the country.
