Innefu Labs Goes Strong on India, Initiates Channel Partner Program

Strengthening its focus around the Indian market, Innefu Labs, a provider and developer of niche & innovative cyber security solutions, has rolled out a multi-layered Partner Program in India.

Targeted at security SIs/VARs/MSPs/Security Resellers, the Innefu Partner Program is designed to expand the market for its multi-factor authentication solutions and while helping partners benefit from this growing opportunity.

Authshield 2FA, a two factor authentication solution from Innefu, secures access to SAP ERP, Corporate Email, VPN, Remote Server Logins, Cloud Infrastructure and Web Applications with a second layer of protection and can be integrated in less than 30 minutes.

AuthShield 2FA uses dual mode of identification where along with the user id and password of the user, verification is also done through a secure randomly generated one time password (OTP) or a challenge response mechanism using PUSH Notification protocol. An organization can easily mix and match and choose specific form factors for different users. Authshield 2FA uses a protocol level decoding engine to offer enhanced protection to personal and business information stored digitally on personal devices or at onsite, remote or cloud based systems.

Market for Authentication Solutions & Growth Factors in India

According to conservative market estimates, the total available market (TAM) in India for Two Factor Authentication (2FA) and Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) in 2015 is approximately US$ 131 million and US $ 3.5 million respectively and growing at 30%,Year on Year (YoY).

Factors driving rapid market growth include:

· Consumer’s Perception of Trust – Business enterprises, across government, non government, public and private sectors, that have consumer-facing websites and services are driving adoption of 2FA and MFA solutions increasingly as authentication processes directly influence consumer’s perception of trust

· Identity Theft – An exponential rise in identity theft cases is contributing to the growth of secured MFA technology

· Growing Volume of Online Transactions – Consumers conduct more sensitive online transactions now than ever before – from online banking to managing personal funds and investment portfolios online, to shopping, to simply having more sensitive, private information accessible in their smart phones, email and social networking accounts. This has in turn led to an increase in number of online threats. Older methods of human identification such as username and PIN/password (One factor authentication) are simply not good enough in this evolving threat environment

· Regulatory Compliance – There are a growing number of regulations around strong authentication that businesses must comply with especially in areas like online banking, e-commerce, and email and data protection

“The authentication process is often the aspect of security that is most visible to users,” says Tarun Wig, Co-Founder, Innefu Labs, “ Naturally more companies are realizing that they need stronger authentication methods than a simple username/password scheme built in-house and they’re turning toward reliable authentication products to help solve the challenges,” he added.
