NEC India, Keonics Partner to Drive Smart City and Cybersecurity Collaboration in India

NEC India, a solution provider in the integration of IT and network technologies, and Keonics (Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate and explore opportunities in the areas of Safe and Smart City technologies and Cybersecurity.

The partnership aims to promote and drive economic growth in Karnataka as well as other parts of India through NEC-driven, innovative IT solutions, and capacity building training.

In the area of cybersecurity, NEC India and Keonics will collaborate to provide solutions that protect against cybercrime, as well as focus on talent development to enhance the security capabilities of Karnataka as well as the rest of India.

Through this partnership, Keonics will leverage NEC’s solutions to assist state governments and other government organisations in implementing projects in the areas of Cybersecurity, city surveillance, criminal investigation and forensics, and systems integration.
