Tetrate Achieves Red Hat Container Certification

Tetrate, the company that is accelerating the adoption of enterprise service mesh, promotes the Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and reduces the complexity of the modern hybrid cloud with its flagship.

Red Hat OpenShift customers can now access full details of Tetrate’s enterprise service mesh solution in the Red Hat Ecosystem catalog and simplify TSB’s launch work. This allows OpenShift users to focus resources on business applications and outsource service mesh deployment to the TSB platform, backed by Istio’s founders and industry experts.

Red Hat has now confirmed that TSB meets the standards and best practices for deploying containerized workloads on Red Hat OpenShift, the industry-leading Kubernetes platform. Tetrate intends to continue working with Red Hat to ensure future TSB releases meet the Red Hat OpenShift certification criteria.

“The Red Hat OpenShift ecosystem builds on the close collaboration between Red Hat and our partners to offer customers a broad range of proven solutions. We are delighted to partner with Tetrate to certify its Tetrate Service Bridge (TSB) as a supported containerized solution. on Red Hat OpenShift, “said Mark Longwell, director of alliances, Hybrid Platforms Business Unit, Red Hat.

Tetrate’s partnership with Red Hat helps customers achieve better results with TSB on Red Hat OpenShift. TSB relies on external products such as Elasticsearch, Postgres, and others for storing configuration information and application metrics. This collaboration brings together Red Hat and Tetrate experts, who work closely with each other, to validate TSBs with required packages included in Red Hat Container certification. This helps customers reduce implementation time, work more efficiently with their service network, and build a community of experts in implementing and supporting third-party tools.

Founded by the creators and maintainers of Istio and Envoy to reinvent application-defined networking, Tetrate specializes in enterprise service meshes designed to manage the complex aspects of modern application infrastructures hosted in hybrid cloud environments.

Its flagship product, Tetrate Service Bridge, provides a connectivity platform for edge-to-workload applications that ensures business continuity, agility and security for enterprises that are moving away from traditional monolithic architectures in favor of the cloud.

Customers gain a consistent, integrated level of observability, runtime security, and traffic management in any environment.
