NetApp Opens New Global HQ in Cork, Ireland

NetApp®, a global cloud and data-driven software company, has announced the opening of its new international headquarters in Cork, Ireland. The offices are located in Navigation Square within Cork Docklands, one of the largest and most ambitious urban redevelopment projects in the country.

This new global headquarters will be dedicated to NetApp’s international business, sales and technology operations, expanding the company’s ability to serve customers worldwide through a rich ecosystem of technology, engineering and software development talent.

Cesar Cernuda, Chairman of NetApp, will be joined by Michael McGrath TD, Minister for Reform and Public Expenditure, to inaugurate these premises overlooking the docks.

“I am delighted to be here today to open NetApp’s new global headquarters in Ireland, and I welcome the prospect of 500 new jobs by 2025,” said Michael McGrath TD, Minister for Reform and public spending. “ This further strengthens the position of Cork City and the wider region as a prime location for technology companies like NetApp. I would like to congratulate everyone who made today’s inauguration possible. I also want to highlight the role of IDA Ireland, which continues to work to attract foreign direct investors to Ireland. »

NetApp has already hired more than 100 people in Cork and will recruit 200 more staff by the end of June 2023, to reach 500 employees by 2025. Jobs to be filled range from junior to senior positions, in engineering and technology but also in finance, sales, human resources and product management, including multilingual positions.

Navigation Square’s offices are accessible to all employees, under the NetApp “Thrive Everywhere” model which offers a flexible hybrid work environment. International headquarters staff will benefit from the company’s full benefits package, which includes wellness days, non-meeting days and paid volunteer days.

As well as fitting into Cork’s emerging business landscape, NetApp’s hybrid employment model means both technical and non-technical employment opportunities in Ireland.”
