The upgrades offer uncompromised gaming performance, boosting gameplay for both professional and casual gamers, enabling them to play to their full potential. All components of the new gaming devices, including the stamped aluminum cover, are made from post-consumer recycled ocean-bound plastic, as part of HP’s commitment to driving sustainable impact.

Ketan Patel, Managing Director, HP India Market said, “India’s youth is embracing PC gaming in an unprecedented way, placing India as one of the top PC gaming countries in the world. With these insights, we at HP, are bringing our newest gaming portfolio of OMEN and Victus notebooks and desktops, to cater to all segment of gamers and elevate their gameplay to the next level.”

The OMEN 16 equipped with a 16.1-inch display and 16:9 aspect ratio, provides gamers with an immersive visual experience whereas the micro-edge bezel display on the OMEN 17’s 17.3-inch screen gives edge-to-edge immersion for a more screen-to-chassis ratio. The OMEN line-up features extraordinary power and cooling with an extra thermal outlet and heat pipe that results in increased GPU and CPU performance.

Other devices in the portfolio include Victus 15 & 16. The Victus 15 offers a conventional backlit keyboard and a performance blue & Mica silver colour schemes. The Victus 16 brings players to an approachable, yet elevated gaming experience that is infused with OMEN’s DNA. With exceptional processors and graphics, gamers can multitask between gaming, browsing, and editing with the Victus portfolio.

Vickram Bedi, Senior Director (Personal Systems), HP India Market said, “HP has upgraded its gaming lineup to provide the best-in-class technology, design, and enhanced performance to meet the evolving demands of gaming enthusiasts in the country. We are cognizant that superb thermal technology, faster refresh, clear display, and smooth output, is vital to enhance gaming experience. As a leader in the PC gaming segment, we will continue to focus on such consumer insights to drive our innovation strategy and cater to all segments of gamers with our gaming PC portfolio”.

The newest OMEN and Victus desktop range, especially engineered for gamers looking for an exceptional experience, debuts in India. With seamless expansion, easy upgrades, and world class thermal cooling solutions including HP patented Crayo Chamber, the all-new range of gaming Desktop PCs is powered to keep up with the games of tomorrow. The desktops feature a up to 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700K processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB of GDDR6X along with HyperX 32GB DDR4-3733 memory, a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, an 800 W power supply, and additional strong internals.

HP is extremely conscious of the overheating problem in gaming devices. Gamers who spend long hours gaming on AAA titles want peak gaming performance from their laptop; and don’t want to compromise their optimal gaming experience. Overheating can take this entire joy out of gaming, despite the best-in-class tech specs. Cooling is also one of the key gamer frustrations, including the laptop becoming too hot or too noisy. In its new campaign, Game On with Tempest Cooling, HP talks about the thermal efficiency of OMEN 16. OMEN tempest cooling technology, with 3-sided venting and 5-way airflow, that keeps the laptop cool for smooth gaming experience.
