This growing demand for GeoAI expertise is expected to rise in the coming years.

With over 1 million users of Esri’s technology in the country, we are continuously innovating to meet the evolving needs of Indian users across various sectors. Esri India is focused on developing cutting-edge solutions that integrate advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data with traditional GIS capabilities. These innovations are designed to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of spatial analysis, enabling organizations to make more informed decisions.

Esri India now provides over 1000 layers of Indian geospatial content to its users through the Indian edition of Living Atlas. These layers are hosted on a cloud in India. The data layers are specifically catering to the Indian government and private organizations, helping them achieve effective outcomes in disaster management, land administration, utility management, and more. These solutions, along with the support for AI/ML, AR/VR, Gaming engine, and ArcGIS Reality are helping customers address some of the challenges in social and economic development.

We also recently announced the availability of ArcGIS Business Analyst, which is a unique solution comprising data, maps, workflows, and infographics that enables businesses to make smarter decisions. Using ArcGIS Business Analyst, businesses can gain invaluable insight into changing populations, housing, demographics, consumer spending, competition, etc., and thus make more informed decisions for market planning, site selection, territory management, and customer analysis. Such in-depth analysis helps them gain a competitive edge and improve operational efficiency.

To specifically cater to government organizations, we have launched Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst, a location intelligence solution suite. Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst for India includes a variety of location-based datasets, such as points of interest; road network; administrative boundaries at various levels like village, PIN codes, district, state, etc.; socio-economic and demographic data; and data available from the Indian edition of ArcGIS Living Atlas, while providing the flexibility to the users to add their own data.

The solution has the potential to greatly enhance the efficacy of government departments by offering precise insights into spatial and demographic factors. Using the solution, government agencies can make data-driven decisions, optimize resource distribution, and customize efforts to achieve more effective outcomes in public safety, economic development, community assessments, city development, and more.

It transforms the high-speed, high-volume data from IoT into actionable intelligence, uncovering patterns, connections, and opportunities that would otherwise be challenging or impossible to identify, enabling faster and more effective decision-making and problem-solving at a next-generation level.
