TD SYNNEX Opens CoE in Latin America

“We are privileged to be a bridge between companies that develop technology and the channels that bring it to market. We have common goals and responsibilities with manufacturers and sales channels. The TD SYNNEX CoE, which we inaugurated today with IBM, will represent a focus for innovation and best practices around new technologies. Our clients will benefit from unparalleled experience, cutting-edge solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement, ultimately driving better results and competitive advantage for companies,” said Otavio Lazarini , President of TD SYNNEX for Latin America and the Caribbean.

“At IBM, we believe that collaboration is key to enabling new and powerful ways to generate impact in business transformation. The creation of the TD SYNNEX CoE, with IBM’s support, will allow our partners to differentiate themselves in the market by creating or improving solutions with disruptive technologies such as automation, data and Artificial Intelligence. Innovative solutions enable not only the optimization of internal processes, but also the creation of new opportunities, contributing decisively to sustainable economic growth and strengthening competitiveness in the long term,” said Tonny Martins – President and General Manager of Technology for IBM Latin America.

New technologies and ongoing support for business partners
With the growth expectations and opportunities presented by the IT market in the region, there is also a need to be prepared to respond efficiently to a challenging scenario. In this sense, the strategic development of skills and training are essential.

TD SYNNEX’s CoE headquarters are located in São Paulo, Brazil, and has support points throughout the Latin American region. It is supported by a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing the capabilities of all business partners and driving their technical excellence. Areas of expertise include IBM Software (Data, AI, Business Automation, IT and Security), Storage and Red Hat (Openshift, Ansible and RHEL).

For Alvaro Andrade , Director of TD SYNNEX for IBM product distribution in Latin America, the CoE seeks to address issues related to the use of IBM technologies with partners – what is the best strategy for incorporating them into the market, how to prepare their teams and clients and develop the best solutions for them. “Offering partners a unique experience is the main objective of the CoE. We seek to offer our partners the ability to use IBM and Red Hat solutions more effectively, create joint solutions, position them in the market and support their clients in the development of projects,” said Andrade.

The CoE will be connected to the entire Latin American region and TD SYNNEX is making significant investments in three pillars:

– First, in human resources. The center has more than 25 professionals located in different countries in the region. The team includes a group of architects with advanced technical knowledge and extensive experience in developing solutions. In addition, the CoE also has the support of the TD SYNNEX business development team, which will work to connect business partners with IBM and Red Hat, in addition to developing demand generation and marketing plans. At the CoE, partners will have access to support tools, such as demonstration environments, reference cases, methodologies, proof of concepts, among other resources, to support sales and boost the performance of MVPs.

– The second pillar is the physical center itself. The CoE is located in São Paulo, where TD SYNNEX partners will be able to work together with IBM professionals in the region. The Center of Excellence will be connected to all TD SYNNEX sites in Latin America and the Caribbean through remote pods , with which partners will be able to access all the resources available at the São Paulo Center. Business partners will have the support of a team of specialized professionals, through the designation of a regional leader who will coordinate the work of experts based in the different countries.

– The third pillar of this investment is a solid marketing structure. By promoting different events and activities, the CoE seeks to support the development of new business partners, offer new practices to existing partners and position important technologies. It is a joint effort to support partners throughout the sales cycle, which ranges from training and developing a marketing plan to supporting lead generation and monitoring.

“TD SYNNEX will make it easier for partners to enter and grow in the IBM world, not only from a physical standpoint, but also in terms of familiarizing themselves with the nuances of its technologies and applications to business,” says Fabiano Rodrigues, IBM Product Distribution Director for Brazil at TD SYNNEX.
