Verizon has announced that Senthil Muthusamy has been appointed the VP and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Verizon Value.
In his new role, Senthil leads the IT organization for Value Brands, focusing on driving growth and delivering innovative solutions for a portfolio of Value segment brands, including Verizon Prepaid, Visible, Tracfone, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, and Simple Mobile. Senthil is also responsible for advancing the development of next-generation Conversational AI platforms across Value and other lines of the Verizon business.
Over his two-decade tenure at Verizon’s postpaid brands, Senthil has led multiple digital and AI transformation initiatives, and his teams have made multiple award-winning contributions to Verizon. He is an innovative technology services veteran, most recently overseeing assisted sales & service, conversational AI, field operations, and testing platforms for Verizon Consumer Group, concentrating on next-generation store and call center experiences.
Senthil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Annamalai University in India and holds several patents related to call center transformation, real-time analytics, and customer management platforms.
