Enlighted, a proptech company, has released a curated portfolio of intelligent IoT building solutions to create customer value and enable sustainability for businesses across industries and geographies.
According to analyst firm Verdantix 1 , 75% of businesses will use IoT data to monitor space usage. The solutions announced today, part of Siemens’ Xcelerator open business platform, elevate the use of IoT building data to a new level of functionality for executives seeking to improve operational productivity and achieve carbon neutrality.

The new portfolio includes two offerings that help organizations understand activity in their spaces, access in-depth analytics, and leverage visualizations and application software to improve workflows and space utilization. The offers include:
Data Services: A set of data APIs and visualizations centered around the following three primary areas of value:
Occupancy insights with new people counting capabilities to understand how space is being used and make portfolio size and space design decisions
Efficiency insights for recording and documenting energy savings for ESG reporting towards net zero carbon
Location Insights to capture asset and people movement for the use of third party location tracking applications
Location Intelligence: A complete Real Time Location System (RTLS) with patented intelligent sensors embedded in luminaries, as well as durable tags and badges, combined with a SaaS cloud application to set up new workflows, events and triggers associated with the movement of assets and people are connected. By integrating multiple off-the-shelf business platforms, location intelligence will initially focus on outcomes for the healthcare, education, office and manufacturing industries.

Robust micro sensor
The robust microsensor is the first on the market to deliver all of the functionality of current IoT sensors in a minimally sized housing. The sensor is designed for outdoor applications, parking garages and damp or wet locations.

With a view to strengthening the technology ecosystem, Enlighted also announces a new partnership with J2 Innovations, a Siemens company and provider of open software systems for smart buildings, to accelerate digital transformation in building management.
