Iron Mountain, a global information management services provider, has expanded its facility in Bangalore which is the largest global in-house delivery centre (GIDC) in India. The facility is located at Bagmane World Technology Center, Mahadevpura, spans over 56,929 square feet with world class amenities and with over 450 plus highly skilled employees currently working at the facility.
In India known as Iron Mountain Services (P) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Iron Mountain Inc and in Bangalore headed by Christo Mekkattukulam, GM, VP-Service Delivery, Iron Mountain Services Pvt Ltd.
Inaugurating the facility, Dr. Tasos Tsolakis, EVP, Chief Information & Global Services Officer, Iron Mountain Inc, said “Its gives us great pleasure to announce the opening of our largest GDIC in Bangalore, today. India has always been a very important market for Iron Mountain. We have grown three folds in the last three years in India and this has encouraged us to invest further and expand operations in the country”.

Iron Mountain Inc., the Boston-based data storage company, runs one of the largest documents holding facilities in the world inside a former limestone mine in Butler County, Pa. Two hundred feet below the earth, in this abandoned limestone mine are 13 acres and 20 miles of road with data storage vaults. Each room, vault, tunnel and chamber has been specially designed to withstand nuclear and terrorist attacks.
